The machine has various defects and would require an overhaul, defects: no operating manual, no safety valves for the return stroke (no dual-channel design), no safety valves for ram down, in single-stroke operating mode the stroke is automatically completed once the brake is reached, missing cover/door for the control cabinet, selector switch is not secured, there is a continuous-run operating mode which behaves similarly to the single-stroke operating mode, no simultaneity monitoring for ram down, the safety guard on the rear of the press is not electrically interlocked and can remain open during the press stroke, a large amount of oil in the side frame, valve leaking, the machine is operational. On-site inspection is possible.
