The piston dosing systems from Scheugenpflug work according to the
principle of volumetric dosing, i.e. here the dosed amount of material
is mechanically determined by the geometry and stroke of the
associated cylinders. The cylinder is filled with the potting material
by feeding it through the corresponding material conveyor system. If a
two-component medium is used, the volume of the two cylinders
simultaneously determines the ratio of the resin and hardener
components to each other. The dosing pistons simultaneously push the
two components in separate channels towards the exhaust valve, where
they only mix in the static mixing tube to form a homogeneous reactive
medium.
The Dos P016 / 050 / 100 / 300 / TCA piston dosing systems are
high-precision volumetric dosing systems designed for the processing
of 1K and 2K materials and cover a wide range of requirements.
Precisely dimensioned dosing cylinders enable the output of
reproducible material volumes.
In the case of 2K materials, the parallel emptying of both cylinders
into the common mixing tube generates a constant mixing ratio at all
times and thus maximum process reliability. At the same time, even
pressure, moisture or shear-sensitive potting media can be gently
conveyed without having to fear changes in the material. Users also
benefit from simple and fast maintenance, long service lives and
significantly reduced maintenance costs. With optional features such
as valve monitoring, mixing tube heating or dosing head heating, these
systems can be flexibly adapted to the respective task.
